After 78 years of being a private club, The Brookwoods Country Club (formerly Ontario Golf Club) is now a Public Facility. Built in 1928 the course is no longer the best kept secret in Western New York. A long range master plan for the golf course created by world renowned architect; Geoffrey Cornish, is close to completion. The championship course has a fully computerized irrigation system that offers 5 sets of tees appealing to golfers of all skill levels. Traditionalists will be impressed by this spectacular course known for its pristinely manicured greens and well maintained fairways. The Brookwoods CC offers a rich history; having hosted such prestigious events as the US Women's Open Qualifier, The US Public Links Qualifier, The Brookwoods Amateur Classic, Multiple RDGA Championships and 5 New York State Amateur Championships: Men, Men's Senior, Women, Mid-Amateur and Juniors!
The Brookwoods offers tremendous value to our Season Pass Holders. Single, Family and Junior rates are all available for a limited time only! Prices reflect numerous benefits including 9-day, on-line advanced tee time reservations. All packages offer an a la carte menu of optional services that you may customize to your individual needs. We are members of the USGA, NYSGA, RDGA, WRDGA, and the Lake Country Golf Association.
Our Public Play Fees are competitive and extremely affordable. Once you play this championship course you will be justifiably impressed and we have no doubt you will return again and again. Public players may make their starting times 5 Days In Advance by calling the pro shop at 315-524-7184. Special rates and conditions are available for groups of 12 or more. The Brookwoods strictly adheres to a Fast Play Policy and Dress Code. No jeans are allowed and you must play your round of golf in less than 4 hours and 30 minutes or risk losing your playing privileges. Marshals will be on the course during the busiest times.
In the spring of 1994, a modern full service 15,000 sq. ft. clubhouse was completed. Sue Roe of Keenan's Restaurant has recently been appointed Vice-President of all clubhouse operations for The Brookwoods Country Club. Sue and the Keenan's name gives The Brookwoods instant credibility. "Keenan's At The Brookwoods" will open in April. Excellent service offering great food at affordable prices in a fun and relaxed setting is our goal. Every table offers a great view of our beautiful championship golf course.
Prime dates are still available for golf outings, weddings, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, retirement and birthday parties, graduations, reunions, business meetings and more. Our banquet facility can accommodate any size group up to 250 guests.
Other facilities include a fully stocked pro shop, a fantastic practice facility and a recently renovated outdoor swimming pool complex. The practice range is over 5 acres with a 30 golfer capacity. It has grass tees, 4 distance markers, a 5,000 sq. ft. practice green and a special 5,000 sq. ft. short game area which includes a bunker. Our large fenced-in pool (3 to10 feet deep) has easy access. The complex offers changing areas, showers, a snack stand and a certified lifeguard is always on duty.
