After 78 years of being a private club, The Brookwoods Country Club (formerly Ontario Golf Club) is now a Public Facility. Built in 1928 the course is no longer the best kept secret in Western New York. A long range master plan, created by world renowned golf course architect Geoffrey Cornish, is close to completion. The championship course has a fully computerized irrigation system that offers 5 sets of tees appealing to golfers of all skill levels. Traditionalists will be impressed by this spectacular course known for its pristinely manicured greens and fairways. The Brookwoods offers a rich history, having hosted such prestigious events as the US Women's Open Qualifier, The US Public Links Qualifier, The Brookwoods Amateur Classic, Multiple RDGA Championships and 5 New York State Amateur Championships: Men, Men's Senior, Women, Mid-Amateur and Juniors!
